چکیده

Delivering cloud-like computing facilities at the network edge provides services with ultra-low-latency access, yielding highly responsive to application requests. The concept of fog has emerged as a paradigm that adds layers nodes between and cloud, also known micro data centers , xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">cloudlets or xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">fog nodes . Based on this premise, article proposes component-based service scheduler in cloud-fog infrastructure comprising several cloud. proposed aims satisfy application’s latency requirements by deciding which components should be moved upwards fog-cloud hierarchy alleviate workloads edge. One communication-aware policy is introduced for resource allocation enforce access prioritization among applications. We evaluate proposal using well-known iFogSim simulator. Results suggest scheduling algorithm can reduce average delays stricter while still reducing total usage when applications exchange components. have shown our was able to, average, overload impact approximately 11 percent compared best literature maintaining acceptable latency-sensitive

Hierarchical Scheduling Mechanisms for Multilingual Information Resources in Cloud Computing

Cloud computing provides information resources for users in "Cloud" through the Internet. These information resources with a variety of different languages are distributed in Web pages and the databases. The scheduling of multilingual information resources becomes complex, as multilingual information resources are heterogeneous and uneven in cloud computing. The need arises in scheduling of mul...

Implementation of the Multi-Level Adaptive Hierarchical Scheduling Framework

We have presented a multi-level adaptive hierarchical scheduling framework in our previous work. The framework targets compositional real-time systems which are composed of both hard and soft real-time systems. While static CPU portions are reserved for hard real-time components, the CPU portions of soft real-time components are adjusted during run-time. In this paper, we present the implementa...

Secure Login Using Multi-Tier Authentication Schemes in Fog Computing

Security threats are major barriers in authentication process in Fog Computing. Identification of a user through single signon process like simple password-based authentications are no longer considered secure. Different multi-tier authentication schemes exist in literature that overcome the weakness of single sign-on. This paper surveys state-of-the-art multi-tier authentication techniques, th...
